BSK Engineering in numbers
The challenge: capability-led buying
Buyers arrive wanting to know one thing: can you make my part, to my tolerance, on my timeline?
BSK Engineering do diesel and hydraulic tank manufacturing, CNC folding, plasma cutting, welding and fabrication, CNC machining and laser cutting, for sectors ranging from quarrying and material handling to agriculture and wear parts. It is technical, capability-led work.
A generic brochure site makes a buyer dig for that answer, and most of them will not bother. The site had to get to the capability they searched for in one move.
Search is where those buyers start, and they search by process rather than by company name. Somebody looking for CNC folding or plasma cutting in Ireland needs to land on a page about CNC folding or plasma cutting, not on a homepage that mentions both in a paragraph.
Our approach: a page per capability
Precision engineering is a business where the work speaks for itself, as long as somebody can see it.
We built a site that answers that fast. A dark, industrial design puts their own workshop photography front and centre, with services and industries each getting their own page so a buyer can land straight on the capability they searched for rather than wading through a generic brochure site.
The photography is all theirs: their workshop, their parts, their people. It is the one asset a competitor working from stock imagery cannot match, so the layout gives it room.
The result is a site that looks like the quality of the work, heavy, precise and confident, rather than the usual engineering template with a stock photo of a spanner on it.
What we built for BSK Engineering
Structured around how the buying actually happens: by process and by sector, not by whatever order the company would list itself in.
A page per capability
CNC machining, CNC folding, plasma cutting, laser cutting, welding and fabrication, and diesel and hydraulic tank manufacturing each get a page of their own.
A page per sector
Crushing and screening, material handling, agriculture and wear parts, so a buyer recognises their own industry before reading a word about anything else.
Project detail
Six real jobs shown properly, with parts BSK actually made, instead of a gallery assembled from stock photography.
Managed in Laravel Nova
A plain admin for services, industries, projects and articles, with no page builder to fight and nothing that can break the layout.
Automatic image handling
Workshop photography runs through Spatie’s media library, so files are converted and sized on upload rather than served at full resolution.
Enquiries and newsletter
Enquiry forms go out through Mailgun behind reCAPTCHA, with newsletter sign-up for the buyers who are not ready to talk yet.
The Tech-Spec
Built on Laravel with Inertia and Vue 3, giving the site single-page-app speed with server-rendered routing for SEO. Content is managed through Laravel Nova, and imagery runs through Spatie's media library for automatic conversions.
