What we do
Digital
Services
Eight things we are hired for, and a few more we do alongside them. The same people do all of it. No account managers, and nothing handed to someone you have never spoken to.
What we build
The work that makes up most of what we do.
Bespoke websites
Designed and built from scratch around your business rather than adapted from a template. Every page and every field is there because it earns its place.
- Designed to your brand, not a theme
- Editable by your team without us
- Fast, accessible and properly indexed
Web applications
Software that does a job for the business rather than describing it. Members platforms, custom admin software and internal tools built around how the work actually gets done.
- Scoped and priced before a line is written
- Built, hosted and looked after
- Grows as the business does
Native apps
Apps that live on a phone rather than in a browser, for the jobs people do on the move. One build that runs on both iPhone and Android.
- iPhone and Android from one codebase
- Push notifications and offline use
- Submitted and maintained on the stores
AI integration
Chatbots, automations and internal tools wired into the systems you already run, answering from your own information rather than guessing.
- Trained on your content, not the open web
- Connected to your existing data
- You keep control of what it says
Booking systems
Take bookings and payments on your own site, around your own rules, without handing over a fee on every booking you take.
- Your availability, your rules
- Payments taken securely
- No per-booking commission
E-commerce
Shops for physical stock, digital products and gift cards, with payments taken securely and stock that stays in step with the shop floor.
- Card, Apple Pay and Klarna
- Stock, shipping and tax handled
- Built to be run by you
Entry-level websites
A smaller, fixed-price start for a newer business that still has to be built properly, and can be grown into a full build later.
- Fixed price agreed up front
- Live in weeks, not months
- Upgrades later without starting again
Maintenance
Updates, backups and security handled quietly in the background, so problems are dealt with before they become urgent.
- Updates, backups and monitoring
- Security patched as it lands
- A person who answers the phone
Alongside that
Work we take on around a build, or on its own.
Design services
Branding, artwork and the design work that sits around a site rather than inside it.
02Laravel development
The framework we build almost everything on, and the one we are most often asked to take over.
03Digital product roadmap
Scoping and planning before anyone writes code, so the build has a shape and a price.
How it works
The same four steps whether it is a five-page site or a booking platform.
Half an hour on what the business does and what the thing has to achieve. No charge, and no obligation at the end of it.
The approach, what is in and what is out, a timeline and a fixed price. You are not agreeing to an hourly rate that runs.
You see it on a staging site as it goes, not at the end. Changes are cheapest while it is still being built, so we would rather you looked early.
Training for your team, then a monthly plan covering updates, backups and small changes. Most clients are still with us years later.
Common questions
What people ask before they get in touch. If yours is not here, just ask.
How much does a project cost?
We scope the work first and give you a fixed price in writing before anything starts, so you are never agreeing to an hourly rate that keeps running. The range is wide because the work is: a first website for a new business and a booking platform for a venue are different orders of magnitude. Tell us what you need and we will tell you the number.
How long does a project take?
A smaller fixed-price website is weeks. A bespoke site is usually six to twelve weeks. A web application is eight to sixteen for a first version, phased if it is larger. The most common delay on any of them is content rather than build, so we tell you at the start exactly what we need from you.
Do you work with businesses outside Northern Ireland?
Yes. Most of our clients are in Northern Ireland and we like being able to sit in a room with people, but a fair amount of our work is elsewhere in the UK and Ireland and it runs perfectly well remotely.
Can you take over a website or app somebody else built?
Yes, and it is a regular part of what we do. We read the code and tell you honestly what condition it is in and what it would cost to keep or replace. You get that assessment either way, because that decision is easier with a straight answer than a sales pitch.
Do you do just design, or just development?
Either. Some clients want design handed over to their own developers, others have designs already and need them built properly. We do the whole thing when it suits you and a part of it when it does not.
