When it comes to customer service, chatbots are becoming increasingly popular. We frequently integrate these into our client's websites to help increase sales and conversion rates. 

Depending on your needs, we would advise either the Facebook Messenger chatbot, or if you need something more complex, then Smartsupp is a great solution. As previously mentioned, these chatbots are used to help increase conversions online. They can be set up to give unique automated queries and responses to users on a specific page. 

For example, if someone landed on a fitness page that had various packages to choose from, the chatbot can be set up to give the user more insightful information about the packages or may be used to direct them towards a package you are wanting more sales from. 

At any point, you can take over from the chatbot and help the user with any further queries. Chatbots can be one of the most powerful forms of securing conversions if set up and used correctly and are something we recommend highly.

If you are not already implementing video into your marketing strategy, you should get on board as soon as possible. Text-based content simply can’t compete with the power of video, especially when it comes to trying to sell products and services online.

In a world, where everyone has access to their own personal computer in their pocket, people are watching more video content than ever before, whether this is for recreational purposes, interest in brands or products, or it may be to educate themselves further. 

I know when I am interested in a product, I want to get a great understanding of it before I make my purchase, video content helps greatly with this. People today watch and share videos about everything, your brand/product could be next on their list!

Facebook pixel is a snippet of code that you place on your business website. This code collects data that helps you track conversions from your Facebook ads, build a target audience to re-market to people who have already visited, and performed various actions on your website. 

Facebook Pixel works by placing and triggering cookies within the browser, to track your website's users as they interact with the different pages and features on your website. as well as your ads on Facebook.

This marketing tactic may seem a little sneaky at first, but there is no doubt that it is one of the most powerful forms of marketing, being able to find people who are already interested in your product or service and promote it to them further, the conversion rates are often much higher than generalised marketing.



Informed emails campaigns
Often, we add a mailing list sign-up feature into our client's websites, allowing them to add to their mailing lists to re-market to an audience that is already interested. When interacting with these mailing lists, by looking at the analytics, we can help you make informed marketing decisions. 

For example, if someone is interested in a tour from Belfast Hidden Tours and has subscribed to their mailing list, then the company can re-market to them by directly adding them into their email lists that promotes other tours that they might be interested in. This is an extremely powerful tool, you already have a user who is interested in your brand already and has completed a purchase before, and if your product was a hit with them, then it is likely they will be a returning customer!

Interacting with your users is vital, it helps them build trust in you and feel like they are part of the community behind your brand. Voice search consideration
Voice search results are ranked so that the user will not only get the information they are asking about but also so that the results that give the user a more natural, conversational style answer are given preference. 

Voice search results can be even more unforgiving than conventional results, as often the device that gives you the answer will only ever read the top-ranked result!

You really need to consider adapting your SEO strategy to include voice search. This isn’t something that’s coming, it's here already and your competitors know it!


Understanding your demographic and Multi-platform marketing
A very important consideration is your demographic and correctly marketing to them. You have to understand your user base and what is the best way to reach them and initiate a response. Facebook is more popular with an older demographic, whilst the youth of today are more interested in the likes of Instagram and TikTok, whilst you should be marketing across many channels, you should always first consider your demographic and which is the best channel to reach them on. 

Element Seven being a web & digital marketing agency, we find LinkedIn to be our best platform, as it is very much business-focused compared to the other social networks, whereas we would be unlikely to be found on TikTok as the demographic does not suit our marketing strategy (for now). However, being able to adapt to these various networks is very important, as the world nowadays moves very fast, and you must be able to adapt fast or risk falling behind!
